Creating Gifted Engineers
- What is The Jed-i Apprentice Program?
- The jed-i Apprentice program will introduce to bright youngsters, the key elements that define an engineer: the ability to design, build, fix, modify, extend. And to do all of these under real world constraints.
- By providing the tools to learn to be an engineer. By encouraging them to ask bold questions and to answer them by working with enthusiastic peers.
- What does it take to be a gifted engineer? It is being challenged to do things outside of the comfort zone of what you have learnt. It is going beyond formulas to concepts. It is to understand the foundations so that you never forget their essence. It is to have the confidence to approach a new problem or assignment in a systematic fashion.
